Comments: My first blonde doll ^o^! Her eyes
are very shocking, aren't they? I dunno, I've always wanted to make a doll with this
coloring. Creepy as it is....I had a hard time painting her eyes. The red
paint I used for the dark color didn't cover very well, and I ended up having to
completely redo the iris and outline it in purple....;_;...Why do some paints have to be
that way? -_-;;;.......
For some reason, now, the Volks prerooted A-type head is the same
size as the B-type head! I guess it's nice to have a smaller version of the
super-boyish A head, but jeez! I don't want to use any more of these heads, but I
have two dolls left....one with silver hair and one with pink. Once I'm done with
them, I'm rooting all my A-type heads myself!
The skin color difference isn't too bad with this doll. Some
of the new prerooted heads I've used, Iris's in particular, have been strangely
dark-skinned. I keep telling myself that it isn't that bad-- that everyone has to
use these new prerooted heads-- but this really bothers me. Volks, what's the matter
with you???
Fuu........I feel like I'm losing my groove with painting 1/6
scale dolls. It must have something to do with the recent Super Dollfie boom.... I
love them, but they just aren't the same as 1/6 scale dolls. Knowing that doll
collectors everywhere are turning towards collecting SDs exclusively is sapping my
motivation....guhh....have to think positive! ^__^;;........
Leene's Comments: I'm not sure where Kate lives, but every
third person here has pink eyes. What's the big deal ^_^?
