Update: After over two years I finally finished the doll. Many thanks to the kind and patient Emilie and her talented mother for the outfit! I'm ashamed that I took so long to repaint Luc. I guess you can say that looking at my shoddy rooting job I lost my motivation! I'm still not satisfied with his face but I'll leave him be. He at least looks better than he did before! ::snickers::
Luc is actually my first rooting job (read: I didn't do that great a job
>_<) but I was afraid to paint him. He'd been lying around faceless since
June! ::laughs:: I didn't want to have Christmas pass without having at least done
his face. I'm not sure I did that good a job....his eyes are a lot bigger than I
planned, even though I tried my best not to overdo it. This was supposed to be a doll of
Luc from Suikoden 2, but I don't know.....maybe he looks too childlike? O_o.....I guess
I'll just have to get used to him. Maybe I made him look like this because I just
got a doujinshi that had him drawn with eyes about this size.....is it just me, or does
this doll look like Luc if he were from the cast of Utena?
I've seen a lot of pictures of him with brown eyes, but he originally had
green eyes, and I think they suit him a lot better! (Then again, when Sasarai was first
introduced he had brown eyes, and now, for some reason his eyes are blue *_*) Luc is
a skinny little twerp, so maybe I should've used Excellent C....but proportionally, that
would've made his head too large for his body!
For those of you who don't know, Luc is a character from the
Playstation game series Suikoden. He's a wind mage and has a "bad
personality" ^___^.....I think that's all you need to know without playing the game..
Leene's Comments: Luc-kun's all right, as long as he doesn't open his
mouth. Then again, can't you say that about all teenage boys *^^*?
